Tips, contacts or search on the Law Society website.
Lawyers can work with many different things. Some lawyers primarily represent private individuals, Family Lawyers, while others mostly have businesses as clients. In smaller towns it is common for lawyers to take many different types of assignments, while Metropolitan Advocates are often more specialized. Which lawyer you should hire depends both on what you need help and how complicated your case is.
Maybe you have friends or business professionals who can recommend a lawyer when you need it. Otherwise, here you can search for a lawyer at, or near, your home city on the Law Society website. You can also choose a particular focus on the lawyer, such as family law.
Many law firms also have their own websites, where you can read what the lawyer or lawyers work with. When you call a lawyer and present your case, the lawyer decides if he or she can undertake your assignment. Many times the lawyer can refer you to another lawyer if he or she is unable to take the assignment.
